Amber's inspiration in her own words:

I was walking out in the pasture one day with a few friends and their kids. As we searched for my sweet Jersey cow Ella, one of the little ones said, “Where’d Cow Go?” I looked down and smiled, “Don’t worry, her animal friends always watch out for her. They will know where she is.” Sure enough, we found Ella grazing down in the valley with a horse and alpaca. That night I decided to write the story of “Where’d Cow Go?”
